As a SAP/BW Data Warehouse Analyst, you will support ERP BW development for the Digital Technology team, delivering and maintaining application solutions for all UK‑based divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with functional/business teams to deliver business systems and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff and users to ensure timely and effective delivery of system changes.
  • Provide system support responding to business needs within published service levels, including break‑fixes and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform business analysis and requirements capture, system analysis, programming, testing, and data analysis & design.
  • Implement systems, deliver training, support, and develop documentation for technologists and users.
  • Analyse, design, code, test, implement, document, and support development and enhancements to RSL applications and interfaces.
  • Monitor helpdesk and change control systems, update configuration tools, and ensure system maps reflect application portfolio changes.
  • Work with vendors to deliver requirements and resolve issues.
  • Occasional visits to other RSL sites and partner organisations.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in SAP Business Warehouse and ABAP programming.
  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver BW dataflows (3.x & 7.x), SAP Business Explorer toolset, and BEx query designer, Analyzer, and Web Application Designer.
  • Knowledge of wide range of IT technologies and formal systems delivery methodologies.
  • Experience delivering and supporting business‑critical application packages within a large organisation.
  • Knowledge and operational experience in manufacturing and/or defence industry.
  • Experience with CPS job scheduler (SAP Business Process Automation by Redwood).
  • Experience administering process chains and resolving data loading issues.
  • Ability to administer InfoObjects, Datasources, DSOs, Cubes, Multiprovider, and Process Chains.
