Location: Warminster, Wiltshire, United Kingdom Job type: Onsite Summary of Role Raytheon UK is seeking a dynamic, driven, inspirational and experienced Programme Director to lead the successful delivery of a strategically important contract within the Military Land Training domain.
Responsibilities Lead, manage and successfully deliver all contractual requirements within agreed budgets, schedules and performance standards.
Establish and maintain programme governance, risk management, reporting and control frameworks to ensure successful programme execution.
Promote Programme Management excellence (PMX) best practice and lead by example to instill a culture of flawless programme execution, accountability and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular governance engagements to assure delivery and programme success.
Develop, coach and mentor programme team members.
Develop collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders within the customer, strategic partners and suppliers.
Act as a subject matter expert for programme execution.
Actively contribute to development of knowledge and skills across Raytheon UK PMX function.
Qualifications Successful track record in delivering complex programmes, preferably for a prime contractor and including systems integration.
Experienced working within partnering environments in a prime contractor role alongside the customer and other contract delivery contractors.
Experienced leading large multi‑disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.
Track record of delivering business transformation through innovation, continuous improvement and introduction of new technologies and processes.
Strong commercial, financial and performance management skills commensurate with delivery of large complex projects.
Experienced user of industry standard project management tools, techniques and methodologies (ideally in a defence context).
Current holder of, or eligibility to obtain, SC MOD security clearance.
Must be UK nationals and resident in the UK.
