We are looking for an MRO Quality Engineer to join our team in Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom. The role supports the implementation of repair changes into quality-driven solutions within Collins Aerospace's Interiors team.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement quality systems that comply with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Conduct investigations into quality concerns, contributing to root‑cause analysis and robust corrective actions.
  • Identify and manage risk in repair processes.
  • Support technical knowledge and approved maintenance data knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual quality requirements and provide input into quality assurance plans and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, and industry regulations such as UK CAA Part 145, CAA‑FAA MAG, EASA Part 145, China CAAC.
  • Essential experience with CAA Part 145.
  • Experience using structured problem‑solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes in regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, defence).
  • Aerospace manufacturing industry experience.
  • A commitment to high standards and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Aerospace maintenance experience.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineering, maintenance, operations, and customer teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional and constructive approach.
  • Experience with global quality standards, willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute to a culture of improvement.
  • Willingness to develop and share knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality systems.
