Role & Responsibilities
Work as a Platform Engineer, deploying applications and software to cloud or on‑prem environments for our many business areas.
Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure, understand the needs of project stakeholders, automate and improve development and release processes, ensure system security, identify technical problems and develop software updates, work with other engineers to ensure development follows established processes.
Required Experience
- Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model.
- Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.).
- Experience building and deploying large‑scale applications in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines; container platform and orchestration (ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker).
- Experience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents.
- Experience in scripting languages and source control.

Work Culture
37‑hour working week, early finish Friday at 1.30pm, remote, hybrid and site‑based working opportunities dependent on role.
