Overview
Raytheon UK has a perm opportunity for a Production Associate to join our team in Livingston.
Role involves electronics manufacturing with potential travel to Glenrothes.
Day shift 37 hrs/week Mon-Wed 07:30–17:18 and Thurs 07:30–17:06.
Training provided; first weeks will be part of a training programme to provide the necessary knowledge and skills.
Interviews and training will be conducted at our Glenrothes site with compensation for travel during the 5 week training duration.
You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance.
Responsibilities
- Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- Mechanical and wiring assembly
- Kit preparation
- Bonding and coating
- Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
- Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar environment / role
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Required to pass basic eye test (including colour vision)
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
