The Raytheon UK Advanced Products team seeks a dynamic, high‑performing Programme Manager to lead a high‑performing Integrated Project Team. The role spans multiple product lines, overseeing infrastructure preparation, transfer, installation, qualification and ongoing development through full‑rate production of a new product in the Raytheon UK portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction and manage an Integrated Project Team across multiple disciplines.
  • Plan, schedule, budget and monitor projects with full P&L accountability.
  • Coordinate infrastructure preparation, transfer, installation and qualification activities.
  • Maintain effective scope management and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risks and opportunities using quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Prepare and report accurate financial information, including forecasts and cost-to-complete.
  • Communicate progress, issues and corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
  • Lead and motivate a multi‑disciplined team, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Degree in a technical, manufacturing or project‑management discipline, or equivalent non‑academic experience.
  • Recognised project‑management qualification is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience as a Programme Manager with a track record of delivering complex projects on schedule, budget and quality.
  • Strong expertise in issue resolution, scope management and corrective action based on performance data.
  • Experience in project financial management, reporting and P&L oversight.
  • Proven ability to lead and direct multi‑disciplined teams.
  • Knowledge of risk and opportunity management techniques and tools.
  • UK permanent resident status and ability to undergo SC security and background check.
  • Desirable: Experience working in relevant domains with a broad technical perspective.
  • Leading multiple programmes and supervising other Programme Managers.
  • Capture and proposal management experience with a history of successful submissions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including customer interfacing and senior‑management presentations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with ability to influence and motivate.
  • Innovative problem‑solving skills and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Capacity to engage technical experts with credibility and understanding.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and forecasting costs to completion.
