What You Will Do
- Perform regular in‑field work across the UK & Global, traveling as required.
- Ensure all technical documentation is correctly completed before commencing work.
- Properly prepare work scope in line with customer and P&W requirements.
- Be aware of commercial aspects of the work and negotiate with the customer as appropriate.
- Maintain and complete work files with detailed entries of work performed.
- Check in and strip engines in line with the work scope, carrying out basic cleaning of components as necessary.
- Inspect all relevant components and identify items for scrap, rework or refit with reference to product information.
- Build engines to defined standards, ensuring fit, clearance and modification levels are accurate using P&W hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Accurately update the technical pack throughout the build process to ensure its accuracy and completion before engine release.
- Continuously seek improvements to reduce turn time and costs.
- Generate accurate cost estimates and technical reports, adhering to quoted costs.
- Advise the customer of any escalation in costs before estimate values are exceeded.
- Assist in the generation of invoices to ensure alignment with company targets.
- Generate good customer communication and issue regular status reports for in‑house work as necessary.
