What You Will Do:
- Reporting to the Cash And Corporate Accounting Team Leader, this person will have primary responsibility for the cash operations of Collins Aerospace entities. This is a busy, dynamic environment, working to tight deadlines.
- Ensure cash coding, posting and allocation is completed in a timely and accurate manner – to include auto posting/matching (80%) and manual posting/matching (20%).
- Run and distribute cashbooks to sites in adherence with SLA.
- Reconcile banking data against SAP to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Complete the netting process for all entities in line with the schedule and agreed SLA.
- Manage the Pro forma receipts and allocation whilst working with the Credit Risk team to ensure Pro forma orders are released in a timely manner.
- Use CORE tools to document and streamline all current processes, such as using Standard Work (SJIs) to ensure all non-value-added activities are eliminated.
- Drive the reduction of unallocated cash across suspense accounts and all 3rd party customer accounts.
- Perform all the required controls and verifications as part of the month-end closing process.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place, perform the gap assessment and SOX testing as and when required.
- Achieve the KPIs levels committed in the SLAs with the sites and maintain an accurate and up to date monthly dashboard.
- Support in the achievement of key treasury initiatives – CORE/Process Improvement; to include any new projects such as integrations, automation etc.
- Be willing to work out of normal working hours where necessary, especially at month-end.

Qualifications / Experience You Must Have:
- Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible individual with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Effective team player, able to support colleagues when necessary to meet very demanding deadlines.
- Must display initiative and integrity.
- IT literate with strong Excel skills.
- Experience of SAP would be preferred.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels within the business.
