This is a hybrid role based at our Plymouth site, where we design and manufacture control, navigation, and guidance systems for both air and surface applications.
What You Will Do:
- As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing, integrating, and validating complex embedded systems.
- Generating and managing system requirements.
- Developing and executing verification procedures and tests.
- Interfacing with stakeholders across Systems, Software, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering.
- Supporting system integration for real‑time embedded systems, including hardware/software interfaces.
- Ensuring requirements‑to‑test traceability and unit‑based testing.
- Understanding internal (board‑to‑board, processor/peripheral) and external (unit‑to‑unit/network) data bus standards.
- Applying logical and innovative problem‑solving across software, hardware, and system levels.

- Hands‑on experience with solid‑state MEMS gyroscopes or accelerometers (desirable).
- Electrical or software design and development experience.
- Ability to use an emulator for on‑chip debugging.
- Experience using COTS test equipment in a lab environment (oscilloscopes, bus analysers, etc.).
