At the Plymouth location we design and manufacture products for control, navigation and guidance for surface and air applications in the global aerospace and defence markets. Our world leading products include the innovative MEMS based Inertial Measurement Units and the digital terrain reference navigation system, TERPROM®. Our growth plan includes development and extension of our current technologies into civil aircraft applications.

We are currently seeking to recruit 4 x MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATES to join our team in Plymouth, Devon, UK on a 12 Month FTC basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing administration tasks in line with standard instructions.
  • Working in accordance with standard operating instructions.
  • Assembling the PCB boards into mechanical housing.
  • Loading the products onto local test rigs and running tests.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous manufacturing assembly experience is desirable but not essential - the ideal candidate should be keen to learn and comfortable working with their hands.
  • Excellent attention to detail and following instruction is essential.
  • The flexibility to work occasionally at the weekend.
  • We will also welcome applications from anyone who has held a role in which high quality, accuracy, speed and dexterity are required to produce repeatable results.
  • You will have experience of working in a team environment, showing a flexible and positive approach.
  • Candidates selected for interview will be given a short soldering assembly exercise to complete that will enable you to try the kind of work we do and for us to assess your trainability.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Electrical Assembly.
  • Aerospace / Automotive Manufacturing environment experience.
