TheJob:
Responsiblefordrivingvalueandaligningprocurementactivitieswiththecompanysstrategicobjectives.TherolewillinvolvepurchasingavarietyofindirectMRO-related productsandservices, as well as some business services including IT contracts.
- Purchasingindirectproducts and servicesinlinewiththecompany'srequirementsandensuringmeasurablecommercialandoperationaloutcomeswithin theMRO and businessservices categories
- Buildinganddevelopingstrongsupplierrelationships
- MonitoringsupplierdatatoensureperformancelevelsarewithinagreedSLAs
- Carryingoutsuppliervisitsandaudits
- Implementingandembeddingprocurementimprovements
- Engagingwithstakeholders,drivingbudgetcomplianceanddeveloptenderspecifications
Requiredexperience:
- Atleast6years'experienceinan MRO/spares/parts focused orIndirectpurchasing role, at SeniorBuyerlevel or above
- Evidence of highspendand autonomous category responsibility
- ExperiencewithMRO and businessservices/other indirect spend category
- Provensolidnegotiationskills
- Experiencewithinmanufacturingpurchasingisanadvantage.
- CIPSqualification or working towards/equivalent
