Management Accountant in Sheffield

Due to continued growth, organically and via acquisitions, increasing business demands and an expanding UK operation, a newly created position has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance team.The role is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel required to businesses and sites across Yorkshire and the Northwest.Their approach is built around sustainable growth, responsibility, integrity and long-term value. The business also places importance on creating an inclusive workplace where people are treated fairly, valued for their contribution, and given opportunities to develop and progress.The Job:You will have ownership of multiple entities where you will be responsible for:Preparing monthly management accounts and management information.Supporting month-end reporting.Producing meaningful analysis of financial performance.Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.Analysing costs, margins and profitability.Balance sheet reconciliations.Accruals and prepayments.WIP.Interrogating data.Other ad hoc duties as required.The Person:Strong Management Accounting experience is required.You will be commercially minded, inquisitive, and confident dealing with people outside of finance.You must be comfortable working autonomously in a predominantly home-based environment.Excellent Excel and financial systems skills are essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.Permanent7 September 2026Non-Qualified FinanceManagement AccountantSouth Yorkshire & Sheffield City Region, SheffieldCompetitive salary + study support + discretionary bonus + hybrid working
