A fantastic opportunity to join a global B2B software business based in Central Sheffield and at a pivotal stage in its Finance and AI transformation journey. This is a remote based role with occasional travel to Sheffield. This is not a traditional FP&A role. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between Finance and Data Engineering — helping reshape forecasting, reporting and financial insight through modern data platforms, automation and AI-enabled processes. You must have strong transformation experience.

The business is investing heavily in its unified data platform and wants to move away from spreadsheet-heavy reporting towards dynamic, AI-assisted forecasting and performance analysis.

The role will involve:

  • Transforming FP&A and forecasting processes
  • Building driver-based planning models
  • Working closely with Data Engineering teams
  • Automating reporting and variance analysis
  • Supporting AI-enabled finance workflows
  • Acting as the link between Finance, Analytics and Technology

We are keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience
  • Experience improving forecasting and reporting processes
  • Exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and/or Python
  • The ability to work credibly with both Finance and Technical teams
  • A genuine interest in AI, automation and transformation
