The Job

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will support senior finance leaders and operational teams, helping to deliver meaningful financial insight and drive commercial performance. Key responsibilities to include:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Producing accurate and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Partnering with operational stakeholders to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Preparing monthly reports, variance analysis, and key performance metrics
  • Assisting in driving process improvements and enhancing reporting capabilities
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc commercial analysis and projects

The Person

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a finance role (e.g. Assistant Management Accountant, Analyst, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent Excel and systems skills, with a keen interest in technology and data
