Interim Management Accountant - Full or Part time

We are working with an established manufacturing business in the Goole area to recruit an experienced Interim Management Accountant for an initial three-month assignment. This is a hands-on role supporting the Financial Director and wider finance team through a particularly busy period. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable getting quickly up to speed and taking ownership of a broad range of management accounting, year-end and cash-flow responsibilities. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of management accounts and supporting month-end and year-end reporting Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of outstanding items Preparation and review of accruals and prepayments Intercompany reconciliations and balancing Supporting the year-end audit and statutory accounts process Cash-flow reporting and preparation of rolling cash-flow forecasts Supporting invoice discounting / credit-related reconciliations and reporting Payroll year-end support and cover where required Preparation of other financial forecasts and supporting budgeting activity Supporting the business with its year-end stock count and associated stock accounting Daily cash and bank reporting Supporting payment planning and cash management Assisting with VAT and other periodic financial submissions Providing financial an...
