A growing and successful organisation is seeking an Interim Group Accountant for a 9-month contract to oversee financial reporting and statutory accounting for its UK entities. This role will ensure compliance with UKGAAP and IFRS, while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger accounts across the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UKGAAP and IFRS standards. Prepare annual audited accounts for the group, managing the statutory audit process and engaging with auditors. Lead the preparation of monthly group financial reports, ensuring high-quality outputs within tight deadlines. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Manage a small team of Accounts Assistants, overseeing workloads and ensuring effective collaboration. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, including inventory control and reporting.
