Financial Controller in Derby

This position in no.1 in finance and is a varied and highly visible role, working closely with the Managing Director, leadership team and budget holders to provide financial insight, and commercial support to the business.You will have responsibility for:Management and statutory accountingBudgeting, forecasting and financial reportingBusiness partnering with senior stakeholdersQuarterly and annual audit processesFinancial controls and governanceGroup reporting and working with the wider Group finance functionAd hoc project work as requiredIdeally, you will be a qualified accountant with broad-based finance experience who is looking for a role with significant responsibility, visibility and autonomy. You will need to be hands on but also have a commercial mindset, comfortable of working on your initiative and able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.Most importantly, we are looking for someone with good communication skills, as you will be part of small close knit head office team.
