We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Management Accountant for a market-leading, forward-thinking business in Sheffield. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and providing commentary.
- Assisting in process improvements and financial controls.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Profit and loss.
- VAT returns.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software are required. Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset are required. You will be proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
