We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an acquisitive, forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Chesterfield. This is a newly created role due to business growth and demands. This role will suit someone ready to take their first step into a finance career, either studying AAT or keen to begin. Competitive salary, study support, and healthcare are offered. There will be incremental pay rises following exam passes! Full on-the-job training for AAT will be provided. An exciting place to work that is open to change and new ideas. Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Updating and maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Credit control duties.
- Bank reconciliations for several bank accounts, including sterling, Euro, and US Dollars.
- Main point of contact between finance and the commercial team.
- Daily calls with the Sales Team for finance-related information.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person: The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
