This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing technology business in Harrogate at a pivotal stage in its growth journey. Backed by ambitious plans and continued investment, the business is looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and help build a scalable finance operation for the future.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, this is a broad and hands-on role that will give you genuine exposure across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust financial controls are in place, producing timely management information and supporting key strategic decision making as the business continues to grow.
Alongside the core finance responsibilities, the business is investing heavily in improving systems, processes and automation. You will play a key role in driving finance process improvements and automation projects, helping create a more efficient and scalable finance function as the business evolves.
Duties will include:
- Ownership of the day-to-day finance function
- Production of monthly management accounts and reporting
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
- Managing payroll, VAT returns and transactional finance activities
- Developing and improving financial controls and processes
- Supporting finance system and automation projects
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business
