We are recruiting an experienced Transactional Finance Team Leader for a leading UK business with the Head Office based in central Sheffield. This is a newly created role to lead and oversee the group\'s ledger functions.

The Job:
The Transactional Finance Team Leader is responsible for supporting, managing and developing the ledger team, maintaining financial controls whilst driving process improvements:
- Managing, motivating and developing a team of 5.
- Ensuring the accurate, timely and efficient operation of purchase and sales ledgers and treasury processes.
- Updating and maintaining the cashbooks daily.
- Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with Group policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The Person:
- Experience of managing a team is essential
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
- The ability to identify and improve processes, focusing on efficiencies is desirable.
- Experience within construction/property is desirable.
