The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic development, leading the operational finance function, and helping shape the organisation's future direction. We are looking for a capable, emotionally intelligent and people-oriented finance leader who enjoys developing teams, building relationships and supporting positive change.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and supported by a fractional FD, the Head of Finance will lead the day-to-day finance operation and support the wider organisation through a period of continued development and transformation. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leadership and development of the finance team
  • Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial controls, governance and compliance
  • Business partnering across the organisation
  • Supporting systems and process improvement
  • Helping colleagues navigate change with clarity and care

About You

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • An understanding of financial strategies in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong operational finance experience
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style
  • The ability to communicate clearly with financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, development and continuous improvement
