Are you a finance professional ready to step into a strategic leadership role in the education sector? I am working with a dynamic Finance Director who is seeking a qualified or part-qualified finance professional (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail to help lead and shape the finance function. You will bring a confident, collaborative approach to leadership and work alongside the Finance Director as a key face of finance across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver accurate, insightful monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Lead on budgeting, financial controls, audit preparation, and year-end processes
  • Oversee cash flow management, fixed asset registers, and control account reconciliations
  • Manage a small, capable team across finance, payroll, student support, and reception
  • Support funding compliance and oversee bursary fund operations
