About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment and has a keen interest in global logistics and ethical manufacturing. As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the companys operational activities from procurement and stock management to production oversight, order fulfilment, and process improvement.
Youll work closely with teams across the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while developing long-term strategies to support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement of raw materials, including supplier negotiation and delivery scheduling
- Coordinate and manage production planning, quality control, and documentation
- Lead sales order fulfilment, including packing coordination, shipping documentation, and customer service support
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate data in Sage 200 and tracking systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and risk management
- Line manage and support the development of an Operations Assistant
About You:
- Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics (preferably in manufacturing/export environments)
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Confident working cross-functionally with a hands-on, can-do approach
- Excellent communication and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Sage 200 (or similar software)
- Previous line management experience is desirable
