A FTSE 250 manufacturing company in Barnsley has a vacancy for a Management Accountant. For nearly 50 years, this company has been growing and developing and supplying the nation with food.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Producing monthly management accounts for the site
- Posting all journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Management of site expenses system
- Full reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of monthly site VAT return and National Statistics
- Cashflow and Cap Ex forecasting submissions
- Review of supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensuring Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger operate effectively and efficiently
- Point of contact for internal and external auditors
You will be:
- Qualified or Qualified by experience Accountant
- Knowledgeable in financial accounting and reporting
- Proficient in MS Office skills, e.g., Excel
- A person with drive and enthusiasm
- Possessing excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to identify problems and own them through to resolution
