We are recruiting an experienced, commercially focused Management Accountant for an inquisitive, forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Chesterfield. Working closely with the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Producing forecasted weekly profit analysis for all sites for management.
- Monitoring and analysing costs, performance and profitability across all areas.
- Preparing and analysing management accounts, including consolidations and commentary.
- Assisting with annual budgets.
- Assisting with forecasting.
- Travel to alternative sites.
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the Financial Controller.
The person: Candidates who are QBE, part-qualified or qualified will be considered. Previous experience within manufacturing is essential. You will have strong analytical and management reporting skills. Good IT skills, including advanced Excel, are essential. Experience of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required.
