Group Assistant Accountant Lincolnshire | Hybrid Working Competitive Salary + Study Support + Hybrid working (2 days in the office) + additional employee benefits. We are working with an

established

and

sizeable

organisation to recruit a

Group Assistant Accountant

into its central finance team. This is a

newly created

role due to business growth/demands and it is an excellent opportunity for an

ambitious

part-qualified accountant looking to

develop

their experience within a

large and varied finance environment , gaining exposure to group reporting, subsidiaries, joint ventures, statutory accounts, budgeting and audit. Duties to include : Preparing monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting. Preparing statutory accounts and supporting disclosure notes. Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts for subsidiary and joint venture entities. Maintaining balance sheet control accounts and reconciliations. Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions across the group. Supporting the external audit process and preparation of audit schedules. Providing supporting information for the Group annual report. Assisting with year-end accounting estimates, including provisions and going concern reviews. Producing high-quality management accounts packs and supporting the reporting of financial results to internal and external stakeholders. Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement within the management reporting process. Supporting the Group Financial Accountant with ad hoc projects and wider finance responsibilities. The person : The successful candidate will be

studying towards

a

professional qualification

(CIMA or ACCA). Excellent

attention

to

detail

and

high standards

of presentation is essential. The

ability

to

communicate

financial information and complex issues clearly to finance and non finance people is essential. A

proactive

and

collaborative

approach, with the

confidence

to work effectively across different functions is required. The ability to

maintain

high standards

and

perform effectively

in a

fast - paced ,

ever changing

environment is required.
