Are you a finance professional looking to take the next step into a strategic leadership role within a purpose-driven organisation? I am partnering with a highly respected, financially stable organisation seeking a qualified or part-qualified finance professional (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) to support and help shape its finance function alongside an experienced Finance Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical capability, outstanding attention to detail, and a collaborative leadership style to play a key role in a values-led environment.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will become a visible and trusted partner across the organisation, supporting operational and strategic financial management while leading a small and capable support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Lead budgeting processes, financial controls, audit preparation, and year-end activities
  • Oversee cash flow management, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset registers
  • Partner with senior leaders to support informed financial decision-making
  • Ad hoc reporting as required

Ideally you will be experienced in management accounting and financial controls, be confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders and you will be a collaborative leader who enjoys supporting and developing people. This is a rare opportunity to join a people-focused organisation with a strong sense of purpose, where your contribution will genuinely make a difference. You will be empowered to grow professionally, take on meaningful responsibility, and work within a supportive culture committed to excellence.
