Head of Finance in Leeds

Pratap Partnership are working with a high-growth Leeds-based business to recruit a commercially focused Head of Finance to support one of their key operating divisions.

The division generates circa £100m in revenue and sits within a larger international group. Following a recent rebrand and significant investment in new systems, the business is now entering an exciting phase of expansion, with a strong acquisition strategy and plans to grow further across Europe.

This is a visible and influential finance role reporting to the Finance Director, working closely with the Sales Director and commercial leadership team to help drive financial performance and support strategic decision making.

Rather than being a purely reporting-focused position, this role is centred around commercial insight, data analysis and business partnering, helping the wider business better understand performance, profitability and growth opportunities.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Owning and driving performance across a £100m division
• Acting as the key finance partner to the commercial and sales teams
• Using large and complex data sets to generate meaningful business insight
• Improving reporting and supporting ongoing systems and process improvements
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning
• Contributing to investment decisions and acquisition activity

The business is looking for a qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with strong commercial finance experience and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. Experience working with data-heavy environments, reporting development or systems improvements would be particularly valuable.
