An established and successful business is seeking an experienced interim finance professional to provide continuity within a key finance role while a permanent recruitment process is undertaken. This is a business-critical position and requires someone who can quickly understand existing processes, maintain the integrity of reporting, and support the wider finance team through a period of transition.

The Role

  • Ownership of monthly management accounts and associated reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
  • Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Budgeting and forecasting support
  • VAT and statutory compliance activities
  • Business partnering with operational stakeholders
  • Supporting process improvements and ongoing finance projects
  • Assisting with year-end and audit requirements where appropriate

The Person

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role
  • The ability to operate autonomously with minimal handover
  • Strong month-end and reporting experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A practical, hands-on approach
  • Available at short notice
