Interim Group Reporting Manager
South Yorkshire | 6β9 months | Day rate / FTC
We are seeking an experienced Group Reporting Manager to provide interim support to a hugely successful South Yorkshire business during a period of transition. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of both internal and external reporting activities, while supporting the Head of Finance in delivering a robust control environment and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of both internal management reporting and external statutory reporting deliverables for the Group.

Manage the month-end close, consolidations, and preparation of management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, disclosures, and compliance reporting, liaising with external auditors where required.

Ensure that finance processes and controls are well-documented, efficient, and adhered to across the reporting cycle.

Deliver clear, insightful commentary on financial performance for senior stakeholders.

Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, with a focus on overheads and group-level reporting.

Proactively monitor changes in accounting standards and reporting requirements, ensuring the Group remains compliant.

Work closely with the wider finance function to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting and reporting skills.

Background in a listed or complex group environment, ideally with both internal and external reporting experience.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidations, and statutory reporting.

Experience in producing and reviewing management reporting, budgets, and forecasts.

A pragmatic problem solver with a process improvement mindset.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly add value.
