The role:
The Social Media & Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising, writing, scheduling and deploying campaigns and social media content in line with business goals. The role also offers the opportunity to take ownership of the social media strategy, support with content creation, and build relationships with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the social media strategy
- Devise, write, schedule and deploy campaigns and social media content
- Plan and schedule posts proactively
- Develop annual/quarterly evidence-based social media strategies
- Deliver regular social media performance and insights reports
- Provide support with written content creation - informative, educational, and inspirational
- Integrate key marketing messaging as much as possible
- Working closely with colleagues from the wider marketing team and designers as well as sales
- Create and acquire high-quality user-generated content for a varied feed
- Adapt tone and communication styles for different relevant demographics
- Build and maintain supportive relationships with multiple external stakeholders
The person:
- Robust understanding of digital marketing
- 3+ years experience in social media marketing - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok
- Paid advertising experience, especially LinkedIn
- Strong content writing/copywriting skills, able to adapt tone and style accordingly
- Experience creating original content through photography and video preferred
- Experience in influencer marketing, brand collaborations and SEO for social content preferred
- We are open to applications from varied industries; experience in patient comms and or medical devices/medical technology industry experience is preferred
