Finance Director, Leeds
This leading manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Finance Director to help drive the business forward. Someone committed to quality, innovation and growth, to be an integral part of a well-established senior leadership team. The Finance Director will have a strong background in finance leadership roles within the manufacturing sector, with a track record of success in driving financial strategy and performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional commercial acumen, and someone who will bring their years of experience and passion for the sector to help deliver results.
Responsibilities:
- Highlight any performance concerns of the factories and areas for improvement to the Manufacturing management team.
- Provide executive cover at other sites as and when required.
- Lead and manage budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and other departments to drive cost efficiency, revenue growth, and overall business success.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
You will be a fully qualified Accountant with at least 10 years’ experience in a senior financial role.
- Manufacturing experience with commercial exposure of SME’s.
- Excellent commercial and business acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
- Strong IT skills, able to embrace new technologies.
