We are handling a confidential search for a Managing Director to lead an established, profitable and financially secure c.£3m turnover, family-owned specialist products business based in South Yorkshire. With a strong international footprint and long-standing customer and distributor relationships, the business is entering an exciting next phase of its development.
The new MD will take day-to-day leadership of the business with a clear mandate to accelerate profitable growth, develop international markets particularly North America and strengthen the management and commercial capability of the organisation.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially driven and hands-on leader with a strong track record of selling B2B products into manufacturing/industrial customers. You may already be an MD/GM, or an accomplished Commercial or Sales Director ready to step into your first full MD role.
Experience of international growth, distributor/channel sales and leading within an SME or entrepreneurial environment would be particularly valuable. Exposure to regulated environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a successful Yorkshire business at a pivotal stage, with genuine scope to shape its future and make a lasting impact. The role will require somebody who lives within a reasonable commute of South Yorkshire; this is not a hybrid role.
