We are supporting a rapidly growing, PE-backed business to recruit a Management Accountant. Current turnover in the UK is £130m but with a number of strategic acquisitions lined up this will increase to £180m in the next 12 months. This is a newly created role due to recent acquisitions.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Detailed margin, production, and cost analysis to support commercial decisions
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear commentary
- Business partnering with divisional managers to provide financial guidance
- Monitoring stock, materials usage, and production efficiency from a financial perspective
- Supporting continuous improvement in financial processes and controls
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong management accounting skills, ideally in a product-led or operational environment
- Analytical and commercially minded with the ability to challenge and influence
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Strong communicator who can translate financial data into actionable insights
