We are supporting a rapidly growing, PE-backed business in North Nottingham to recruit a Commercial Accountant. This is a newly created position that will be an integral link between finance and all operational departments.

£50,000 – £60,000 p/a + Bonus – Hybrid Working

Reporting to the Group FD, you will support Sales, Operations, and Procurement, and have frequent contact with external customers to ensure commercial requests are responded to quickly and accurately. Due to this, you must be comfortable in a fast-paced and business-facing environment.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

  • Support the Pricing Manager with responses to commercial questions
  • Work with the Commercial Director to provide budget and forecast volumes and revenues for customers
  • Support the sales team with requests relating to customer agreements
  • Work on pricing strategy development, including analysis, modelling, and margin review
  • Provide responses to commercial requests from sales and customer service teams
  • Work with procurement to align supplier pricing and terms with commercial proposals
  • Enhance financial models and tools used to support commercial decision-making
  • Assist in creating and distributing MI reports to provide insights on financial performance

We are seeking someone fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong background in pricing, manipulating large volumes of data, and working closely with non-finance stakeholders. The business has an excellent track record of internal development and progression, with further investment in the pipeline. This is a really exciting time to join.
