The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This role includes extensive travel throughout the UK, weekly travel, including some overnight stays. Supporting the business to maintain consistently high standards of Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance. Internal progression plan within the team.

Duties:

  • Carry out Health & Safety risk assessments and compliance inspections.
  • Conduct audits across company sites in line with ISO standards.
  • Identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide clear guidance on compliance obligations and statutory requirements.
  • Support colleagues in understanding and implementing company standards.
  • Support the business to comply with additional manufacturing-specific standards.
  • Participate in incident investigations, including follow-up actions and reporting.
  • Assist in an improvement plan for H&S, Quality, and Environmental objectives.
  • Support and be heavily involved in the company-wide rollout of an electronic compliance-monitoring system.
  • Develop and maintain administrative procedures and procedures for document management across QHSE.

Required Experience:

  • 2 or more years in a QHSE-related and compliance-related role.
  • Proven understanding of basic H&S and Environmental law, and practical workplace risk assessments/audits.
  • Already hold or be willing to undertake additional qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, H&S qualifications, auditing courses.
  • Fully IT-proficient, including Microsoft Office applications and other bespoke system experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

There will be an element of travel in this role, so applicants need to be comfortable with this and able to undertake the occasional overnight stay away from home. Full clean driving licence required.

You would be joining a large, growing business with sites across the UK, making a real impact within the compliance and business delivery to customers.
