Our client is a fast-growing clean tech recycling start-up based on the outskirts of Lincoln, helping renewable energy asset owners responsibly recycle solar panels, batteries and wind technology at the end of their meaningful life. The processes enable safe, sustainable mineral retention while ensuring full compliance with the WEEE Directive — supporting the transition to a true circular economy in clean energy.
As they scale, they are looking for an Operations Director to take ownership of how the business runs day to day. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys building operations, teams and processes in a fast-moving environment. You will be working with the senior management team to set up the facility from scratch.
You will lead recycling operations, logistics, compliance and facilities, working closely with the founders to create a robust, scalable operational platform. You will thrive on responsibility, be comfortable taking ownership in a fast-scaling operation and want to play a meaningful role in solving one of renewables’ biggest challenges — end-of-life asset disposal.
Ideally you will be an experienced operational leader from recycling, waste, renewables, energy, related sector or manufacturing background. Start-up or scale-up experience is highly valued, as is a strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
