Assistant Financial Accountant Wakefield with hybrid working Pratap Partnership is recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the central finance function of a growing group. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will help prepare the accounts while gaining exposure to group reporting, consolidation, cash flow and VAT. It's an opportunity to build on your existing accounting experience and understand how a central finance team supports a wider business. The role Help prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated group accounts. Support reporting for central functions, working with budget holders to understand costs and explain variances. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and take ownership of intercompany reconciliations. Contribute to budgets, forecasts and group cash flow reporting. Support VAT reporting, financial analysis and wider finance projects. About you You will be studying towards or recently qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with experience supporting month-end accounts and preparing reconciliations. You'll bring strong Excel skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Previous consolidation experience would be useful, but is not essential. TPBN1_UKTJ
