Area Sales Manager for the Midlands & South West, you'll be at the heart of our UK growth strategy, developing influential relationships with architects, designers, dealers and end users while uncovering new opportunities to grow our presence across the region.

What you'll do

  • Drive sales growth across the Midlands & South West by developing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, designers, dealer partners and end-user customers to generate project opportunities.
  • Own and manage your territory, delivering against ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Identify, develop and convert project opportunities through specification selling and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Director to deliver regional sales strategies, customer events and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent Naught One at trade shows, networking events and industry exhibitions, championing our brand within the design community.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting to support data-driven decision making.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insights to help shape future business opportunities and commercial strategy.

What we're looking for

  • Around five years' experience in field sales, business development or specification sales within the contract furniture industry or a related sector.
  • A proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and consistently deliver sales growth.
  • Experience working with architects, designers, dealer networks or commercial end users.
  • A commercially minded self-starter who enjoys managing their own territory and thrives on achieving results.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecasting and customer activity.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Midlands & South West region.
