I am delighted to be partnering with a growing international business to recruit a newly created Accounts Assistant position. This is far more than a traditional Accounts Assistant role. Alongside the day-to-day transactional accounting, you'll support month-end, project accounting, reconciliations, and work across several finance systems, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and develop their career.

Responsibilities- Processing purchase and sales invoices, credit notes and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Performing supplier, customer, bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting project accounting, monitoring project costs and assisting with project profitability reporting
- Working across a variety of ERP systems while helping to maintain data accuracy
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Producing reports and assisting with finance improvement projects
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role is required.
- Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills are essential.
- Good Excel skills are essential.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are required.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is essential.
