This is not a traditional CFO appointment. This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of the business, partnering closely with the CEO and Board to shape direction, drive performance and support long‑term, sustainable growth. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in guiding Velocity through its next chapter.
- Act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Board, influencing strategic direction and decision making

- Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director within a complex, ideally manufacturing or engineering‑led environment
- Experience operating at Board level within an AIM or listed business
- Strong track record of driving financial performance, cash management and strategic planning
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on, leading a lean, high‑impact team
- Confidence managing external stakeholders including investors, advisors and banks
- A collaborative, engaging leadership style with the presence to influence across the organisation
