Are you an Interior Design Associate Director with an innovative portfolio to match? Benoy’s London Studio is seeking a creative and experienced Interior Design Associate Director to join them. The Associate Director, Interior Design leads and inspires a team in the London studio to ensure that innovative and thought-provoking projects achieve high quality design standards and are delivered on time and on budget. Responsible for the creative process from concept onwards, they operate autonomously, requiring only minimal supervision from the Senior Associate/Director. They are also responsible for supporting junior colleagues to achieve their full potential. Not only do they support the delivery of corporate level business development strategies, but they actively contribute towards the development of leads and generation of new business across existing and future sectors and markets.

- Highly creative, with a proven track record of creating and developing compelling engaging concepts across a large scale
- A strong presenter, able to engage with clients and develop opportunities for new work
- Commercially astute, demonstrated through effective decision making and project resourcing
- Strong organisational and people management skills, encouraging collaboration and innovation within their teams to maximise performance
- Possesses proficiency with computer applications commonly used within the individual’s discipline
- Degree in related design field or equivalent certification or skill level

Key Responsibilities
- Delivers world class creative solutions across mid-size to large scale projects, across multiple sectors and geographies.
- Manages the creative process from concept onwards, encouraging the team to innovate and develop highly creative solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Presents compelling and creative solutions to the client, engaging the client with their supporting narrative.
Project Management
- Holds accountability for the successful delivery of mid-size to large projects that meet high quality standards.
- Ensures oversight of the entire project process, maintaining involvement throughout.
- Effectively delegates the management of third-party work to team members, acting as a point of escalation when required.
Management
- Role models Benoy’s values and fosters a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practice shared.
- Works with HR business partners to build and foster strong teams, leading, guiding and providing training to juniors to support their professional and creative development.
- Undertakes team management responsibilities, reviewing and providing feedback on team members’ work output and behaviours.
Client Relationships
- Proactively manages existing client relationships and ensures that opportunities for repeat work are maximised.
- Actively engages with opportunities to develop new business, enhancing internal and external communication via functions, events, forums and publications.
- Supports the preparation of fee bids, fee proposals and fee negotiations for projects.
Budget Control
- Understands and takes ownership of project financials as assigned, demonstrating an understanding of their impact on delivery.
