About the Role
Reporting to the Facilities management team, you will deliver an exceptionally high standard of repairs and maintenance across all resort accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain guest accommodation throughout hotels and villages, ensuring everything is pristine.
- Diagnose problems and provide timely, competent solutions while maintaining high working standards.
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs in bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, domestic kitchens, and perform general DIY tasks.
- Ensure safe and secure environments at all times by adhering to current health and safety legislation.
- Work as part of the Resort Facilities team across various areas of the resort, sometimes independently.
- Record keeping, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
Typical working hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, permanent role, paid fortnightly.
Qualifications
- Experience in a maintenance or construction environment.
- Basic carpentry, general DIY and/or plumbing skills.
- Strong prioritisation and time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and health & safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and record‑keeping abilities.
- Positive, guest‑focused approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
