PragmatIC's assembly team urgently needs an experienced process technician, to be involved in helping to standardise and develop all processes after wafer fabrication, to enable automated high-volume throughput. This is a great role, to be part of setting up processes in our developing technology, giving you the chance to make a difference.
Key tasks:
- Supporting day to day production through the back-end assembly department to enable high yielding (>99.5%) product to be shipped to customer
- Standardisation and development of processes by working under the instruction of the department process engineering group
- Carry out daily/weekly tool and process checks as required
- Set-up, adjust and operate a variety of complex computer-controlled equipment involved in the manufacture of flexible electronics
Qualifications and training:
- Degree in a relevant discipline (an advantage)
- Relevant experience in a high-tech industry
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience of working in a dynamic, fast paced, high tech industry
- Demonstrable use of running process trials, collating and presenting the results, drawing conclusions and making recommendations
- Experience with risk assessments, NCRs, CAPA and change control
- Must have a methodical and analytical way of working
- SPC, Continuous Improvement, 8D and other quality methodologies (an advantage)
- Experience of working within the electronics or semiconductor industry (an advantage)
- Motivated self-starter
