Based in the beautiful rural setting of Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, Pragmatic Consulting Ltd is a fast-growing national training provider supporting some of the UK’s leading construction and utilities companies with compliance, health & safety, and workforce development training solutions. This is an exciting time to join our ambitious and growing business. We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Executive to support our growing marketing activity and help strengthen the Pragmatic brand nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in marketing. You will work closely with and report directly to the Marketing Manager, gaining hands‑on experience across digital marketing, content creation, CRM management, campaigns, events, and brand development. Full support, mentoring, and on‑the‑job training will be provided.

Please note due to our rural location and limited public transport, you will require your own transport to travel to and from Stoneleigh Park.

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Marketing Executive to support the delivery of marketing campaigns and day‑to‑day marketing activity across the business. This varied role offers exposure to multiple areas of marketing including social media, email campaigns, website management, CRM systems, content creation, events, and sales support. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping grow brand awareness, generate leads, support customer engagement, and contribute to the continued growth of the business. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate, or someone looking to take their next step in their marketing career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing & Content
    • Assist in planning and creating engaging content for social media platforms specifically LinkedIn and Facebook.
    • Support the delivery of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
    • Help create marketing materials including brochures, presentations, graphics, blogs, case studies, and promotional content.
    • Assist with video and photography content for social media and marketing campaigns.
    • Monitor marketing trends and competitor activity.
  • Website & CRM Management
    • Update and maintain company websites, ensuring content remains accurate and up to date.
    • Support SEO and website optimisation activities.
    • Manage and maintain CRM systems, customer data, and marketing automation workflows.
    • Assist with campaign tracking, reporting, and marketing analytics.
  • Sales & Business Support
    • Work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams to support lead generation activity.
    • Assist with customer communications and campaign follow‑up activity.
    • Help coordinate marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Events & Brand Support
    • Support the planning and organisation of exhibitions and events.
    • Attend exhibitions and events where required.
    • Ensure branding and messaging remain consistent across all platforms.
    • Support ongoing competitor research to identify trends, campaigns, and marketing activity within the training, compliance, construction, and utilities sectors.
    • Assist in gathering insights on competitor positioning, pricing, messaging, and service offerings.
    • Carry out company and sector research to support marketing campaigns and business development activity.
    • Support the identification of new opportunities, industry trends, and potential areas for growth.
  • General
    • Support wider business marketing initiatives and projects.
    • Bring new ideas and creative thinking to marketing activity.
    • Continue developing marketing knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and mentorship.

Skills & Attributes

Experience & Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of social media management tools.
  • Experience creating content for social media or websites.
  • Knowledge of WordPress or website CMS platforms.
  • Experience within training, construction, or utilities sectors would be advantageous.
