We are looking for a passionate manager to join us at our Skegness Resort as an Owners Events Manager for our caravan village. As an Owners Events Manager, you will be responsible for the Pig & Whistle owners bar & events venue. You will be vital in helping our guests create smiles and providing them with a great on-resort experience!
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the venue.
- Designing and delivering an engaging events calendar relevant to all owner profiles (families, couples, seasonal owners, long-term owners).
- Working closely with the entertainment team to source and schedule suitable acts.
- Driving commercial performance while maintaining and growing owner satisfaction.
- Ensuring safety and legal requirements are adhered to, including health & safety and food standards.
- Training the team for the bar and floor areas to maintain high-quality service for our guests.
- Identifying and delivering commercial opportunities such as themed nights, ticketed events, and pre-booked packages.
- Managing stock control, wastage, and variance investigations.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with prior experience in F&B and/or Bar management, with strong experience in being guest and customer-facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly. You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121's and coaching. Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role, so you should be passionate about every interaction and seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.
You should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes and working with a multi-skilled team to support other areas of the business based on guest demand. You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, including proficiency in managing performance, coaching the team, delivering team training, setting standards, role modelling behaviour, problem-solving, and feedback. You should be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
