We are looking for a Shift Manager to work in our Accommodation department at our Bognor Regis resort. Reporting to the Productivity Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team are in the right place at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demand whilst keeping operational standards and guest experience high.
Responsibilities
- Support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
- Ensure all non-guest facing tasks and activities are allocated within the working week so that majority of time is spent on the venue and with guests.
- Maintain flexibility across a 5-day working week over 7 days with shifts between 8am and midnight.
- Manage daily operations to meet guest demand while upholding brand standards and guest experience.
About You
- Experienced leader from within a warehouse or similar accommodation stores environment capable of supporting the team to deliver fantastic service.
- Demonstrates a guest-first mindset with experience in managing a team during a shift on key tasks and objectives in a lively environment.
- Experience leading in busy, fast-paced environments; able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Confident in directing and responding to situations while maintaining consistent brand standards; able to motivate and engage the team, even during high demand.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire the team to deliver excellent results for teams and guests.
Additional Details
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days with a wide variety of shifts between 8am and midnight; flexibility is important. A valid UK driving license is desirable.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet and putting guest experience as a top priority.
