This role requires a voice/telephony engineer with familiarity of supporting MS Teams Voice and Cisco Call Manager infrastructure and the provisioning of users and devices.
Responsibilities:
- Capable of configuring CISCO LAN switches for the purpose of configuring IPT services
- Understanding of IP networks, addressing systems, routing for the purpose of configuring IPT services
- Knowledge of various legacy circuit types such as PSTN, POTS, ISDN30, assignment of number ranges, and telco ordering processes
- Comprehensive understanding of SIP, SBC configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323), QoS, and VLANs
- Understanding of MS Teams Phone Service, provisioning, and troubleshooting
- Capable of managing service requests and incidents through a Service Now resolver group
- Experience managing telecom and network carriers/supplier delivery and SLAs
- Experience operating and troubleshooting call recording platforms such as Verint
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Teams Voice / Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer
