Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily setup, operation, and basic maintenance of the Client robots and associated hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance checks of the existing hardware to ensure it complies with the operational capabilities of both the related Client-directed experiments and the environment in which the hardware is operating.
- Execute various manipulation tasks in a virtual reality environment with the aim of collecting clean datasets that fully represent manipulation tasks performed.
- Collect data related to the operations of the robot and its performance of various assigned tasks (“Robot Data”) via a virtual reality headset used to control the operation of a robot.
- Retrieve and label datasets in accordance with Client standards and direction, saving them in the appropriate Client-assigned repositories.
- Ensure all Robot Data collected complies with established Client acceptance standards.
- Maintain robotic hardware and software configuration control.
- Run daily validation checks as specified by the Client and track any deviations from the current configuration of both hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and report any test results or issues relating to robotic hardware and software.
- Record and report any deviations on hardware or software to the Client.
- Recognise deviations from standard operating environments and performance during data collection.
- Create and refine documentation and procedures.
- Read and understand all documentation related to and prior to providing the Services.
